Our Story
Rooted in the
Tides of Fundy
For generations, the people of Grand Manan Island have harvested the sea's bounty from the Bay of Fundy — home to the world's highest tides. These extraordinary tides, rising and falling up to 16 metres twice daily, create a uniquely nutrient-rich environment for sea vegetables.
Golden Shore Cultivation was born from a deep respect for this heritage and a commitment to sharing Grand Manan's extraordinary sea vegetables with the world. Every frond we harvest carries the mineral richness of Fundy's tides and the care of hands that know these waters intimately.
"The Bay of Fundy doesn't just shape our coastline — it shapes everything we are."
